Overview
Our House is a nonprofit organization serving people living with HIV. Our House's philosophy is rooted in harm reduction and includes compassionate communication and the building of a strong sense of community to inspire people living with HIV to live well. General Information
Caregivers and CMAs interested in working at Our House must have the following qualifications as well as an interest in working in a unique, progressive environment:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work within a client centered structure
  • Open to working with mental illness, substance use and emotional health challenges
  • Team oriented
  • Flexible work ethic
Qualifications
  • Oregon Board of Nursing Certified CMA
  • CPR certified
  • Willingness to participate in care planning, charting and in reporting
  • Sensitivity to issues regarding mental illness and substance use—willingness to work in a harm reduction model
  • Skills in organization, prioritization, initiation and communication
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds
Misc

Hours/work days: at least 24 hours a week dayshift Friday-Sunday
