Clark McDonald

 

Dr. Clark McDonald is recently retired from Pacific Pathology Associates, Inc., a private pathology practice located in Salem, Oregon. Clark joined the practice in 2002 and served as its President for the past ten years overseeing seven additional pathologists as well as sixteen additional employees.

 

As a member of the Salem Hospital medical staff, Clark served as Medical Director of Salem Health Laboratories. He has also held positions on the Medical Executive Committee as Department Chair as well as the Physicians Leadership Council, Salem Health Quality Operations Committee and Strategic Planning Committee.

 

Clark has been a financial supporter of Our House and became a Board Member in 2018. He also provides ongoing charitable support to Cascade AIDS Project, Idaho Public Broadcasting, National Hemophilia Society, and the Idaho Humane Society.

Dr. McDonald earned his Bachelor Degree in Biology at Regis College in Denver, CO, and his Medical Doctorate at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, CO, and his pathology training at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, OR.

 

Clark recently moved to Eagle, Idaho with his husband Douglas Davault and their Australian Shepherd, Pearl to be closer to their families. Clark and Doug have a lifelong passion for travel.
