John Fritz

 

John Fritz is the director of credit and risk management at PacifiCorp, a regulated electric utility company headquartered in Portland, Oregon serving electric customers in portions of Oregon, Washington and California under the name Pacific Power and in portions of Utah, Wyoming and Idaho under the name Rocky Mountain Power. John oversees the middle office, market risk management, and credit risk management departments supporting energy supply management activities of the company. John joined PacifiCorp in 2002 shortly after moving to Portland from Orlando, Florida where he grew up and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida.

 

John joined Our House in 2013 as a personal companionship team volunteer providing assistance to nursing staff, preparing and serving meals, and providing companionship to residents on Monday evenings after work. He looks forward to continuing as a volunteer and expanding his service to Our House as a member of the Board of Directors.

 

John enjoys involvement in the community and has served in several roles including as a Big Brother, science center guide, tutor, and as a caregiver in a South African township. John is an avid world traveler and enjoys scuba diving and underwater photography, never missing an opportunity to swim alongside and capture photographs of sharks, rays, dolphins, sea lions, turtles, and reef fish.
