Laela Wilding

 

Laela Wilding was first introduced to Our House with a team from The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, where she serves as an “Ambassador”. It was not long before Laela joined the Our House board over three years ago. Among other Our House events and activities, Laela hosts an annual fundraiser at the Hollywood Theatre, celebrating the humanitarian and HIV activist, Elizabeth Taylor, which benefits Our House and other local non-profits. Laela’s passions run parallel to those of Our House of Portland. “Inspiring people living with HIV to live well” is a mission close to her heart. She enjoys any chance to participate in the engagement of HIV awareness, whether on behalf of The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) or Our House of Portland, attending events such as the International AIDS Conference, HIV is not a Crime, and AIDSWatch.

 

Laela has spent many years working as a graphic designer and also teaches yoga classes around Portland.
