Robert Lusk, MD

 

Dr. Robert Lusk has been a member of the board of Our House since 2002.  He has served as volunteer medical director for Our House for almost as long.

 

Robert is a native Texas and went to medical school in Galveston, Texas, before moving to Oregon for specialty training in infectious diseases at OHSU in 1991.  In his career, he has worked at several health systems including Salem Hospital, Willamette Valley Hospice and Providence Health and Services.  He has practiced a broad variety of medicine, but HIV related care has always been a major part of what he has done.

 

In addition to his work with Our House, Robert has served on the board of Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) and was president of that board in 2015-2016.  He is also the volunteer medical director of Prism Health, a GLBTQ primary care clinic affiliated with CAP.  

 

Robert shares his life with his husband of over 20 years, Christopher Bailey.  They enjoy working on their Mt Tabor home as well as travel to visit family and enjoy a vacation home in Palm Springs.
